General Questions

What is the load capacity of the top and shelves of the lockers?

The steel we use for the lockers is nice and sturdy. In the Petite and Lanky, each shelf can hold up to 20kg.

On top of the lockers our recommended weight limit is 50kg. For the Lanky we’d recommend being careful with what you put on top, just in case it falls off!

Each locker also comes with wall plugs and screws, with holes in the back of the locker to fix it to the wall for extra stability.

How will the lockers arrive?

Your locker will arrive flat packed, this makes transporting much more efficient.

How do I put it together?

It's easy! Hide lockers are smartly designed so it's nice + simple. You'll find your instructions inside + only need a screwdriver to attach the handle, no other tools needed! Trust us!

Can I lock my locker?

Absolutely! Every locker includes two keys, giving you a spare. You have the option to lock the door and remove the key.

Additionally, you can shut the door without locking it by removing the key. As a bonus, you'll receive an adorable keyring to make it easier to locate your keys! We suggest keeping the keys separate and storing one in a secure spot.

What about safety for kids?

The back panel of each locker is equipped with holes for secure wall attachment. We provide two screws and two wall plugs, but we recommend verifying the most suitable fixing method for your walls.

What are the lockers made from?

Our products are made from quality powder coated steel. They are strong and designed to last. 

Can the lockers be used outside or in a bathroom?

In short, no. Our lockers are intended for indoor use, specifically in areas where they won't be exposed to moisture or water. Placing them outside or in a bathroom may accelerate the risk of rust over time. However, they do add a stylish touch to bathrooms, so the choice is yours!

Will my internet router/tv box still work when it is in my locker?

You can place TV boxes inside the lockers, and the remote will still function even with the door closed.

Internet boxes can also be stored inside your locker; however, depending on the strength of your internet connection, it may slightly slow down the speed or reduce its range.

Do your lockers have cable holes?

Absolutely! They're incredibly convenient. Every one of our lockers features a cable hole, allowing you to neatly conceal extension cables and messy wires.

Does hide offer discount codes or coupons?

We get it, everyone loves a good sale, but we like to keep ours rare and special. You won't catch us doing a weekend flash sale 'just because' or a big end-of-season clearance.

But when we do decide to have a sale, trust us, it's going to be huge!

Payments & Delivery

Do you ship to Easy Malaysia or internationally?

We only sell and deliver our lockers to West Malaysia at the moment. If you would like to deliver to East Malaysia or other countries, please contact us.

What payment methods can I use?

We currently accept Visa Mastercard credit cards, Online Banking via FPX and ApplePay

We also offer Atome so you can split your purchase into 3 with 0% interest.

We will offer more payment options in the next few weeks such as E-wallets.

What if I want to cancel or change my order?

If you wish to modify or cancel your order, kindly reach out to us promptly via help@madebyhide.com.

Regrettably, orders cannot be canceled once they have been processed and dispatched from our warehouse. However, our team will make every effort to assist you within our capacity!

Where are the lockers delivered from?

Our products are ready-stock, and delivered and fulfilled by UrStore in Selangor, Malaysia.

Upon fulfilment, you'll receive confirmation along with tracking details for your delivery. Please ensure your address is accurate, as a re-delivery fee may apply if it is incorrect.

Please note that we are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.

What are your delivery times?

We understand your eagerness to receive your lockers! Kindly allow 1-2 working days for your order to be fulfilled from our warehouse.

Delivery times will vary depending on your location, typically ranging from 2-10 working days from the dispatch date. During busy periods and sales, please anticipate additional time for fulfilment and delivery.

Returns & Exchanges

What are your returns policy?

We’re here to create a better furniture shopping experience from top to bottom, and that includes a 30-day return policy for any Hide lockers.

In order to offer fast and free delivery, reduce waste, and responsibly recycle or refurbish returned items, we charge a restocking fee equal to 10% of what you paid for the product, with the original packaging intact.

Of course, defective or damaged orders are covered by our warranty and aren't subject to any return delivery fees. Every component of your locker undergoes quality control and passing through multiple hands during production. Occasionally, minor imperfections may arise. Should you encounter any imperfection that doesn't meet your satisfaction, please email us photographs at help@madebyhide.com and we'll strive to address it promptly. Our objective is to replace the affected part, whenever feasible, rather than the entire product, minimizing waste while ensuring your satisfaction!

How do I initiate a return?

Please begin by contacting our Customer Care team at help@madebyhide.com.

Once we approved the return, we'll handle the collection and shipping process for you. We will either send a return delivery label or schedule a return pickup. We reserves the right to choose the method of return. Missing an appointment for a return to be picked up from your address will incur a fee. Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund (minus any restocking costs) will be issued to the original form of payment. Depending on your financial institution it may take up to 2 weeks to receive your refund.

What are the returns eligibility?

To qualify for a return or exchange, all products must be unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging. If the product has been fully or partially assembled, we regret that we cannot accept returns for your locker.

Usable condition is determined solely at Hide's judgment. Returns are accepted or rejected at Hide's sole discretion. Hide may request descriptions and/or images of the lockers to determine the state of said lockers prior to accepting returns. Failure to comply with Hide's requests for any reason may result in Hide's refusal of return. 

Slight color variation (to be solely determined by Hide) are considered a matter of preference and not a defect. Products may be returned for these reasons within the return window, but will incur restocking fees as described on our return policy.

Please note: Only full-priced items are eligible for refunds; sale items cannot be refunded.
